It went down this morning in Jones County, MS. Jason Talley posted this to MHD’s Twitter:
We are in Jones County MS and @adammueller has been arrested for filming cops after they pulled us over.

I’ve met Jason and Pete before. They started their journey here in D.C.
Marja and I had a very pleasant conversation with them about ALL. I have to admit: the Libertarians I’ve met around here have been mostly respectful and willing to listen to people speak. It does me give some hope for anti-statism being associated with decency ~ as opposed to conservative cultural or class snobbery.
I really hope they get out of this predicament without any major consequences.

“Possession of a Beer in a Dry County”= your civilisation needs to discover the secret of roads.
“Resisting Arrest”= police officer doesn’t like you.

Angela Keaton was the one who tipped me off to this via a status update. Jim Davidson let us know that local Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty worker Allison Gibbs has headed down there to help bail them out.

She’s been soliciting money for them, so anyone wanting to help might try emailing her. I do not know her personally and haven’t even been formally introduced. Nonetheless, I am concerned about the Motorhome people.
Update for the non-insiders/Facebook connected: they’ve been released. Jason reports he was choked/pepper sprayed for refusing to give id. Let’s hope they sue the hell out of these sado-fascists ~ feeling vindictive ( :

Otherwise, my question to Rad still stands. I love how we’ve had such a networked response to this! The net is a powerful tool for solidarity.
Hi, I’m glad to report that Allison got them out on bail. Everyone was so great! A hero named Antonio came through with $1000! Wow. Thank you all so much. Now to raise money for their legal defense and get started on the civil rights lawsuit to recover everything and then some. Jones County will never be the same.
As Nick posted, they have been released. I talked to Jason this morning, he said they were pulled over because they had a temporary tag from NH, but the tag is still valid, so there was no legal reason to pull them over in the first place. They are staying in Jones County today to shoot some video and once they get their computers back, and the MARV (the RV) out of impound, they will post updates on their site. As far as their libertarian street cred, both are small l libertarian, market anarchist, both are very Anti-State. They have much more in common with ALL than they do the LP and both support agorisim (even if they aren’t agorist) and the counter economy.
