LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) – "Happy Days" creator Garry Marshall is turning the classic sitcom into a stage musical.

Marshall, who’s also directed such films as “Pretty Woman” and “The Princess Diaries,” has written a script for the musical and held readings of it last weekend in Burbank, Calif., according to the Los Angeles Times. He says Paramount Pictures, which produced the sitcom from 1974-84, is providing seed money for the stage show.
