Shameless Self-promotion Sunday #37
Here's a pretty old post from the blog archives of Geekery Today; it was written about 15 years ago, in 2009, on the World Wide Web.
Welcome to Super Shameless Sunday. And happy February to all.
What have you been up to this week? Write anything? Leave a link and a short description for your post in the comments. Or fire away about anything else you might want to talk about.

Arthur Silber posted the second part of his long overdue tribalism series. I strongly encourage people to read it:

Unfortunately, I believe Arthur is preparing to die. See his post here: http://powerofnarrative.blogspot.com/2009/01/visions-of-collapse.html
I will be writing to him to offer my assistance and intimacy in these dark times.

ALLiance is looking for submissions. Therefore, I posted a call for them.
Check it out: http://radicalwhole.blogspot.com/2009/01/alliance-is-seeking-submissions.html
I also edited Friday’s Strike the Root and tried to include a number of ALLies. Check it here.

The fledgling Southern California ALL held its first meeting today. We discussed, primarily, the importance of contacting with other anarchists in the SoCal area. We invitelink any SoCal locals to join us in our fight. We have 11 members so far – not a bad start!

I ranted about the government’s purchase of “troubled assets” and all its wasteful interventions in general and condemned Barack Obama for striding proudly and arrogantly into his role as murderer in chief.
