Shameless Self-promotion Sunday
Here's a pretty old post from the blog archives of Geekery Today; it was written about 15 years ago, in 2009, on the World Wide Web.
It’s Sunday. Time to get Shameless.
I’m about to get on a train bound for New York — where I’ll be presenting comments for the Molinari Society symposium on intellectual property and then heading over to talk with the guys from Thinking Liberty. (More on that anon.) Shortly thereafter, back to Michigan for New Year’s and then back home to Vegas.
And you? What have you been up to this week? Write anything? Leave a link and a short description for your post in the comments. Or fire away about anything else you might want to talk about.

Hey Charles,
I hope the holidays are going well for you.
Here’s the link for the report from the homeless candlelight vigil that some of the Food Not Bombs Las Vegas members attended a couple weeks back.
That same day there was a pretty decent turnout at the A-Cafe, in spite of the proximity to the holidays. There was a group of five new people, who are very involved in environmental causes, that showed up. Shine and Nelson also were there with some friends.
Some of the nonsense I’ve been up to personally, includes a new sports-related blog I started called Anarchy in the Endzone, which is being syndicated through Bleacher Report. One of the first articles I wrote was picked as a lead story by the editors and featured on the news feeds at ESPN.com and the USA Today website.
On the political front, I spent about a week and a half arguing with some guy who disagreed with my opinion that feminists don’t have to address violence against men. It actually wasn’t much of a debate, but I do have to give him credit for persistence.
