Shameless Self-promotion Sunday
Here's a pretty old post from the blog archives of Geekery Today; it was written about 11 years ago, in 2013, on the World Wide Web.
Happy Sunday, everyone. Time to get Shameless.
Around here, I am trying to get my office into some semblance of tidiness, doing some background reading for a paper on the emergence of the fast-food industry, and making the final arrangements to get myself up to Birmingham for Alabama Coalition for Immigrant Justice’s May 1st march for immigration freedom. (Wednesday, May 1, 4pm–7pm, starting in Linn Park, Birmingham, Ala. See you there?) ¿Y t?@c3;ba;? How're things where you are? Got anything big coming up? Anything you've been working on lately? What have you been up to this week? Write anything? Leave a link and a short description for your post in the comments. Or fire away about anything else you might want to talk about.

Hi,
First, I saw a horrible news story about a trans womon in Ohio. A year ago, she was jailed for one hundred days for asserting her identity, asserting her bodily autonomy, and carrying hormones without medical authorization. And now, she has been murdered. http://www.gaystarnews.com/article/trans-woman-stabbed-dumped-pond-tied-concrete-ohio300413
Second, a short piece on why, although I don’t identify as a market anarchist at this point, I think other anarchists can learn from market anarchist theory. http://marjaerwin.livejournal.com/67685.html
