  • Chicago police shooting verdict is overturned. Chicago Breaking News (2009-12-27). In which government judges overturn a verdict that would have made their government colleagues pay out $12,500,000 in compensation for the murder of an unarmed man by government police. Apparently, even though lawyers for the city admitted that the government cop’s shooting met the legal standards for being “willful and wanton” conduct, you’re not allowed to say so in court, because using legal terms that THE DEFENDANTS THEMSELVES ADMIT TO BE ACCURATE, somehow impairs the government’s precious right to a fair trial.
