Shameless Self-promotion Sunday

Hey y’all. I am blogging on the road from Los Angeles — here to check out the Los Angeles Anarchist Bookfair (which begins in a couple hours). Also to hold down a table of our own with booklets and buttons for Southern Nevada ALL, and hopefully to posse up with several Southern California ALLies in the process. (If you’re going to be there today, feel free to give a shout-out in the comments!) But neither rain nor snow nor trips across the desert wastes will stop me from announcing the appointed hour of Shamelessness.

And you? What have you been up to this week? Write anything? Leave a link and a short description for your post in the comments. Or fire away about anything else you might want to talk about.

Elenor and I are looking forward to connecting with ALLies at the Fair today.

We’re hoping to bring a pamphlet version of Radical Health C are Reform: An Anarchist Approach for the table, though some printing problems may get in the way.

I’m very pleased that Elenor and I had the chance to say hello to you in person in LA today, Charles. It was cool to see the level of respectful attention the ALL table received. And, in person as on paper, you’re an impressively lucid and articulate representative of a humane individualist anarchism: it was a lot of fun to watch you at work. If you ever opt for academe, you’ll be an excellent teacher.

Hope your drive back proves uneventful.

I am shamelessly promoting the availability of my services as a translator and Japanese and ESL tutor! As a translator, I specialize in professional-quality translations for Spanish —> English and Japanese —> English texts. I can also offer more limited services on a case-by-case basis for other languages, including Mandarin, Classical/Literary Chinese, German, Italian, Portuguese, French, and Scandinavian languages. As a tutor, I specialize in teaching language through conversational practice and hands-on lessons based on my clients’ interests in music, arts and crafts, literature, and pop culture. I am quite happy to do business by online correspondence.
